AdaptDx rapid test is less than 10 minutes and has low-patient burden
The AdaptDx rapid test takes less than 10 minutes to complete. The technicians will place a patch over one eye, position you comfortably for the test, then darken the room. When the test starts you will look at a red light in the center of the instrument. First, you’ll see a flash of light; this replicates the feeling of being outside on a bright day before walking into a dark room. Next, focus on the red light. Press the handheld response button each time you see a pale light. The technician will guide you through the test. Later, your doctor will discuss the results with you.
