June 2020 – Present

Administers AdaptDx Pro dark adaptation test with personalized coaching and adaptive feedback to deliver a uniform patient experience with reliable results. Collaborative team member that frees up my colleagues to focus on other tasks while I perform patient testing.

EDUCATION

Rosetta Stone
2021- present

Completed intensive French, Spanish, German, and Italian language training to be able to deliver dark adaptation testing to patients in their native language. Currently learning additional languages to address user requests.

Advanced Coursework in Dark Adaptation
2019-2020

Completed intensive graduate-level education under the supervision of Gregory R. Jackson, PhD. Areas of focus included the mechanics of dark adaptation, retinal function including rhodopsin regeneration, and statistical analysis of the Rod Intercept^® equation.

MacuLogix AMD Academy
2018 – 2020

Completed intense one-on-one training with the lead AdaptDx technician to understand and learn best practices based on her experience testing more than 1,000 patients.

MacuLogix Intern
2017-2018

Worked closely with the engineers and MacuLogix^® development team to create a superior, comfortable dark adaptation test that could easily be delivered in a clinical setting. Technician convenience and patient comfort were two priorities for this team effort.
